How do I Keep Track of my Run?
Use "Save as PNG" after each encounter when done filling the required information.
Starting Rules
Choose 1 Faction from the list below. Then, start with a choice of 1 of 3 wit$heroes. You have access to Ability 1 (no Ultimate), 6 Lattice (lives), 3 item slots, and max team size of 4. (Unless changed by Faction)
Roll encounter per your zone difficulty by using wit$encounter_# (where # is your current encounter number which increases by 1 after each success). Wins grant 4 wit$encounter. Encounter Missions apply before items do.
After successfully completing an encounter, roll a shop by using wit$rogue_shop 3 times. Re-rolling the inventory costs 3 wit$gold (+1 each additional re-roll this shop) You can Freeze (wit$reaction will do) one item each shop so that it's available next shop. This takes up a shop space. After rolling your next encounter, you lose access to that shop.
Every 3rd encounter will be a Boss difficulty encounter where wins grant 8 wit$gold. A win also grants you a free choice between a Rookie Comic roll for 3 heroes or a random shop item from 3 items. If you do not die, instead choose between a Prime Comic roll for 3 heroes or a random shop item for 5 items.
Win by beating all 9 encounters!
You may make a run "endless" after encounter 9. During endless, another player plays as one of the enemy bots and all enemy bots are set to HARD
Keywords
Ability: Anything other than Alternative Fire, Passives, Team-Ups and Ultimates
Full Kit: Gives you access to all Abilities and Ultimate.
Random: When related to a bot, set their character as Random. When related to a player, roll wit$hero once and play that hero.
Missions: Additional objectives that you must complete alongside the Encounter.
Gameplay
When rolling starting heroes, repeat heroes are NOT skipped. After choosing your hero, add them to the template as "Hero Name (Easy)."
If the Encounter Mission has a special stipulation based on rewards (or forfeits), apply that BEFORE gaining lattice
Encounter Missions that specify alternate win conditions allow you to leave the match after having completed the Mission. You do not need the match replay for this.
If an Encounter does not specify which side you need to play on, you can choose.
If you accidentally set up your match settings wrong, you can exit and set up the correct settings without penalty to do the correct version.
Items that give Chronovium cannot go over your starting total
Factions
Avengers: Increases default max team size to 5
X-Men: You may have 1 random bot ally on Easy difficulty whenever there is space
Agents of Atlas: Increase max item slot count to 4 and starting Lattice count to 8, -1 max team size
Marvel Knights: Gain access to your hero’s second Ability by default
Thunderbolts: -1 Max team size, -1 wit$chronovium limit, -1 item limit, but +1 Co-op Player
Factions Common Questions
Avengers: Using an item that disables your faction will reset this limit to 4. If this happens while having 5 members in your roster, remove the last added hero.
X-Men: The random bot is, by default, Easy difficulty
Agents of Atlas: Using an item that disables your faction will increase your team cap to 4, and you do not lose the bonus 2 lattice.
Thunderbolts: Your chronovium max is 2 with this faction.
Using an item that disables your faction will remove your player teammate, increase your team size limit and item count, but will only increase your Chronovium max to 3, not your current Chronovium.
Each player rolls 3 heroes to choose from at the start of the run.
Items
You can buy multiple items from the shop, but items can only be purchased once
Items can stack their effects.
If you have multiple Star Performers, they do multiply each other.
Items that restrict ability use take priority over all ability unlocks.
If an item gives you an item and you are already at max, you have to sell that item.
Any items that destroy or copy an Ally only affect permanent allies, like those recruited from Comics.
All Infinity Stones take up one slot, even if there are duplicate stones.
Mechanics/Questions
Failing an encounter destroys one Chronovium. You must retry the encounter. You may choose to swap with one of your bots going into your new attempt.
Heroes CAN NOT be sold under normal means. Pick your team wisely!
Items CAN be sold for 2, 3, and 4 gold per 5, 8, and 12 priced items respectively.
2 copies of one ally hero allows you to combine the two and increase the bot's difficulty
Ally bots on your team can be played as, swapping the bot of your last hero to Easy difficulty
Team-Up Abilities are allowed regardless of how many Abilities you have unlocked or available. The same goes for Passives. As a reminder, Ultimates MUST be unlocked explicitly to be usable.
Any allies added to your team are BY DEFAULT Easy, unless otherwise stated.
Bonus Objectives double the base encounter lattice reward
Submitting Runs
If you are looking to submit your run, first of all, well done – that’s no easy feat.
Please ensure you have copy and pasted your match replays to your template, take a screenshot of your match history, and include a link to your run thread, then message the TDTBot of your success!
